Golden milk, gold colored but that does not contain it, even if it can cost more expensive than ordinary milk. What makes it special, and golden, is turmeric, a spice that we have already known and that we find among the protagonists of many remedies suggested by Ayurvedic medicine.
Golden milk: what is it
It's about a drink based on milk and turmeric. The milk used to obtain it can also be vegetable, as we will see in the recipe suggested below. The important thing is that this liquid contains curcumin, an active ingredient that has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Golden milk: recipe
At 6 euros we can buy 60 grams of Golden Milk to try, but it is not at all difficult to prepare it yourself, using the ingredients we want. Here she is recipe in the version based on vegetable milk which can be automatically replaced by classic milk without changing anything.
To obtain this golden milk, the turmeric paste, before. We can make some and then store it in a jar in the fridge and then dilute it with milk when we want to drink it. Then you need 1/4 cup of turmeric powder, half a cup of filtered water, half a teaspoon of ground black pepper. Put all this to boil over high heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly until we have obtained a smooth and fairly thick mixture.
This is turmeric paste which, in a hermetically sealed glass jar in the fridge, lasts up to 40 days. If we take 1/4 of a teaspoon and add it to half a cup of vegetable milk, or any other type, we get the Golden Milk, then adding a teaspoon of sweet almond or coconut oil and honey.
